Setting the Order of the Trash Modules

By default, the order of processing is the order listed below (the signal passes through the Squash, Prefilter, etc.).

Squash

Pre-filter

Trash

Post-filter

Box Model

Buzz

You can change the ordering of the processing by clicking on the Graph button.

This provides a signal path flowchart of the current settings. You can modify the order by selecting a module and dragging it with the mouse to a new position. You can also place the spectrum meter at any place within the processing.  You could move it, for example, if you'd prefer to see a spectrum of the audio going into the prefilter as opposed to seeing the spectrum after equalization.

Note that you can use the Squash, Trash and Postfilter modules as single band or multiband modules. If you are using multiband processing, any modules that use multiband processing must be connected together. The multiband processing is indicated by the shaded region around the Squash, Trash and Post blocks. You can reorder these three multiband modules within the shaded region, but you can't move any of the multiband modules outside of this region.

An active module is indicated by a darkened square. So in the screen above, the Squash, Trash and Post modules are active and being used as multiband modules. In the screen below, the Post module is being used as a single band module.  Therefore, the single band Post module (i.e. outside of the shaded multiband area)  is darkened, and it can be ordered independently of the multiband Squash and Trash modules.

To apply the new signal order, click the OK button. If you want to reset to the default order, click the Reset button. Click the Cancel button to discard your changes.
