The Gain Module

The gain module is useful for bringing the level of your project up or down. Gain can also be applied to a specific time-frequency selection, allowing you to manually attenuate or boost selections in the Spectrogram window.
Parametric EQ
RX includes a 4 band parametric EQ module with adjustable notch filters and lowpass/highpass filters. The EQ is useful for manually shaping the overall sound of a file, for example cutting harsh high frequencies, removing rumble from dialog and more.
To adjust the EQ's curves, grab an EQ node and drag it to a new point on the grid. When a node is selected, handles on either side of it appear which can be dragged together or apart to control the bandwidth of the node. Alternately, you can enter precise EQ settings by typing values into the table below the main EQ grid.
For descriptions of Gain and EQ controls see the Reference Guide.
