Meter Options

The Meters tab lets you control many of Ozone's meters.

Dynamics
Enable histogram Turns on or off the level histogram meter.
Enable gain reduction meter Turns on or off the gain reduction meter.
Source Sets the source for the gain reduction meter. Comp/Lim displays the amount that the compressor and/or limiter is reducing for that band. Exp sets the readout to be the amount the expander/gate section is reducing for that band. Note that this meter only shows gain reduction. If you have the expander set to "upward compress" the level with a ratio less than one this meter will not show the amount that the signal is amplified.
Show peak hold

Turns on or off the peak hold for the gain reduction meter.

Peak hold time Allows you to set the peak hold time for the peaks of the gain reduction meter.
Enable curve level meter Allows you to turn on or off the dynamics curve level meter.
Phase Meter
Enable correlation meter Turns on or off the correlation meter.
Show correlation meter history Turns on or off the history which the correlation meter "paints" as it updates.
Enable vectorscope Turns on or off the vectorscope meter.
Show vectorscope history Turns on or off the history which the vectorscope "paints" as it updates.
Maximizer
Enable histogram Turns on or off the level histogram meter.
Gain reduction meter Turns on or off the gain reduction meter.
Show peak hold

Turns on or off the peak hold for the gain reduction meter.

Peak hold time Allows you to set the peak hold time for the peaks of the gain reduction meter.
Dithering
Enable DC offset meter Turns on or off the DC offset meter.
Enable bit meter Turns on or off the bit meter.
Show peak hold

Turns on or off the peak hold for the bit meter, meaning the outer column of bits that remain lit when that bit is toggled.

Peak hold time Allows you to set a time for the bits to be held before they are reset and recalculated from the real time bit meter columns.
