Setting the Order of the Mastering Modules

By default, the order of processing is the order listed below (the signal passes through the Paragraphic EQ, then the Reverb, etc.). The phase and spectrum meters are based on the final output signal (after all processing).

Paragraphic Equalizer

Mastering Reverb

Multiband Dynamics

Multiband Harmonic Exciter

Multiband Stereo Imaging

Loudness Maximizer

You can change the ordering of the processing by clicking on the Graph button.

This provides a signal path flowchart of the current settings. You can modify the order by selecting a module and dragging it with the mouse to a new position. You can also place the spectrum and phase meters at any place within the processing, if for example you'd prefer to see a spectrum of the audio going into the EQ as opposed to seeing the spectrum after equalization.

The multiband block actually represents three multiband modules: Multiband Harmonic Exciter, Stereo Imaging, and Dynamics. For convenience, you can reorder the position of the multiband modules in the signal chain using the single block labeled "MULTIBAND". If you want to reorder the three modules within the multiband module, you can select individual processor blocks inside the multiband block and reorder them (within the multiband block)

To apply the new signal order, click on the OK button. If you want to reset to the default order, click the Reset button. Click the Cancel button to discard your changes.
